Appreciation Gallery

nm The success of this Internet community project is highly dependent on volunteers and New Mexico enterprises contributing time, financial or other resources in supporting our efforts to unite New Mexicans in linking and promoting New Mexico on the Internet. Our goal is to keep this web operational for the benefit of everyone interested in America's Land of Enchantment and we will do our best to give credit where due, whether services are paid for in cash or in kind or contributed without further obligation.

Here's our Appreciation Gallery to date, lined up alphabetically:

nm Crystal Freeman was one of the primary people responsible for wordsmithing our web content in 1996. At the time she was working for the University of New Mexico while completing coursework for her Master's degree with an emphasis in history. She has sinced moved back home to Georgia where she continues to work on her Master's.

nm In 1996 Marcus Johnstone created most of the graphic elements that dictated the original "look and feel" for this web publication. He worked on this project as a Westward Connections employee for almost a year before relocating to Colorado where he serves as the webmaster and site developer for a Denver area corporation and continues his education in multi-media and Internet technologies. He is also available to work on selective Westward Connections client projects.

nm Jolou Ottino is the driving force behind Mediaworks Advertising Specialties in Albuquerque. Jolou created the Trivia•New Mexico board game and enlisted the help of New Mexico businesses and community services to contribute to its content and successful promotional campaign.

nm A special thanks goes to Microsoft representatives Barbara Samchuck, a fellow New Mexican, for asking Barb Tomlin to assist her and Julie Freemole, in introducing the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer to the New Mexico marketplace in 1996. This opportunity enabled us to show New Mexico off to the rest of the world before our state ever published its official web site to promote New Mexico.

nm Barb Tomlin, aka Barb T., New Mexico USA, a New Mexico resident most of her life, has made it a lifelong goal to awaken the rest of the world to the land she calls home. She is the person responsible for developing the infrastructure for this site, much of its content and for funding its continued publication on the Web.

nm Ken Washington is the person responsible for developing our interactive New Mexico trivia game and the development of the ActiveX components on this web site. Kudos to Ken for a job well done. During 1996 Ken also served as webmaster for this project.

nm If you need any further assistance, feel free to email our webmaster at webmaster@abq.net. Please remember to sign the Guest Book before you leave. Thank you for your continued interest in this Westward Connections Internet Community project.
